BROKEN
“In a time of universal deceit, telling the Truth becomes a
Revolutionary Act.” -George Orwell
The threads are beyond thin and frayed; they have actually ruptured, sizzled, and been consumed. Yet we record-keepers know we are tasked to keep Tradition alive. So it comes naturally to us, alongside lifetimes of ridicule, torment, and asceticism practices for exactly this moment today.
When suddenly one day you notice we are gone: we fled only to enshrine what’s real for those who survive and those to come…
and to pray alive primal power and sacred seed…
Tradition: a streaming continuum of life force through the ages, history’s channels coursing waves of shared actions and beliefs…Infinity tumbles open, singing and dancing Herself widely into being.
At its essence, Tradition is how Spirit takes form as the guiding force of Truth for living souls. There is a seemingly proven way to carry on. A familiar routine.
Tradition doesn’t only mean the rituals of ones ancestry, but includes our relationships with all Life…our energetic exchanges with the wee ones and people and communities we meet; and with the Soul’s hidden flame that keeps us brilliantly alive in this fight for all times.
And why must it always be this way? Why are we hunted and harassed and enslaved in every age - salvaging our history in heroic epitaphs wherever we can - while fundamentally Life grows harsher by the eon, brutalizing Itself and dragging all of us along? We who see call “Foul!”, as history and life on Earth are erased - actually and virtually at the same time. The still sleeping normies plod onward march. So it’s this side, or that. No middle ground. i choose this side right here.
When roughe
d up against the wall or ordered to walk the edge of the plank, we, the living people, should react, revolt and rebel. When is enough enough?
So i sit in witness diligently as i prepare - for what my body knows and feels, but cannot pin. Prioritizing each moment, while dangling semi-gracefully in what could be an abyss of darkness but i will simply call the complete unknown.
