CONFESSIONS from the brain treatment cave
Trauma stuck in the body tissue causes extreme brain damage, which drives any living being mad as their neural circuits continue to break and fray.
subtle awareness: the secret to self-healing
“…and the day came when the pain got so bad he could not move.” But did it really have to get that bad? Couldn’t he tell sooner that something was wrong?
Subtle awareness is the opposite consciousness as the example above.
Subtle awareness is also how we make friends or scare people and animals away.
It’s hard for us people to quiet down, and even harder for us not to talk, but everything is an energy exchange.
Everything we do demands energy, and most of us, in our chronic states of depletion and fatigue, do not have that extra energy to waste. So we instead gather unsustainable momentum, then end up drained and immune deficient - sick!
Meanwhile constant physical movement and incessant talking driven by the hyperactive, hyper-vigilant mind disconnect us from the voice of our heart.
So let’s first take subtle awareness at the physical level, and explore inwardly for the core of pain and tension deep inside.
Experience shows that the more we ignore misalignments, spasms, and all the places where we don’t move or can’t breathe or that hurt to the touch, the louder they get. Same with relationship pain.
Prevention is the fine art of consciously choosing to heed signals before they are overwhelming, when they can still be easily and naturally reversed.
Once physical agitation and pain are managed, our consciousness is more free to evolve and express - as expounded in Maslow’s hierarchy of needs and brain evolution secrets in the yogic texts. Asana translates from Sanskrit to “comfortable seat”; “stable position”; and “level state of being” - steady equanimity. Mantra set to Indian raag rhythms trains the mind.
Asana does not mean “pretzel pose”; and Indian music is pure brain science.
Shock, trauma, abuse, and chemicals all injure the brain, shattering neural circuits; the blood-brain barrier is destroyed.
The human nervous system is a finely tuned antenna set for mastery, that in the absence of constant threat and terror - and in the presence of nourishing life habits - has an infinite capacity to extend well beyond the bounds of the bones and skin. i believe the human brain is a super-conductor linked into the electromagnetic pulse of the far galaxies, and that we have all suffered so much that our perception circuits were pruned away by overriding unresolved pain.
Trauma causes the kind of extreme brain damage which drives any living being mad as their neural circuits continue to break and fray.
The opioid crisis highlights extreme brain damage in two ways: the traumas that created the pain that drove the addiction as a desperate attempt to escape; and the subsequent physical and mental destruction caused by drugs. In the process of living with chronic pain all self esteem and hope are lost, which feeds a perpetual downward spiral. Beyond depressioin, psychology finds “negativity bias”, when people become so traumatized that the only window they have left is to expect more pain and fear, while hope seems slammed shut once and for all.
Since subtle awareness is the secret, and the body is a natural self-healing machine, we build the bridge and breathe life back into our full natural potential with how we care for our brains. Mastering and teaching the keys to this power is the purpose of my life.
Stay tuned…
Another beauty sister.. Thank you.
