IT’S MY SUBSTACK ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY and my stack is chock full!
Yay!
Other than authoring and publishing my book in late 2019 (baaaad timing though…it never got to launch), i haven’t had such a steady longterm commitment to a single body of written work. This has certainly stretched me - and forced me to expand the conversation well beyond neuroscience, brain therapy, structural alignment, and self-healing.
Back when life was real - before people were convinced that everyone needs to shoot bioweapons into their veins, and that they would die if we both breathed in the same room - i was a manual therapist specialized in resolving pain, trauma, and neurodegenerative disease. i put 40 years into holistic regenerative therapies, and got to study medicine “outside the system” with osteopaths and other medical professionals who honor the Hippocratic Oath (“Above all, do no harm”) and who intimately cherished the divine self-regenerative capacity within us all. As a result, my teachers and mentors traveled the world working “miracles” with every injured population (war vets, autistic children, abuse survivors, etc); and they held symposiums we (advanced manual therapists) were invited to attend. i even did a cadaver study in a medical university in Portland; and served on therapy teams for week long dolphin-assisted craniosacral therapy intensives with paralyzed and developmentally damaged patients in the Bahamas (the only place we could “legally” interact with dolphins) - at my own expense, of course.
i flew to my courses in Phoenix and Seattle regularly for…decades!
Then in 2020 it was over, and i watched the carefully cultivated holistic tower of real medicine fall…
Somewhere in all that time, i went through 8 years of herbalism training, and began making deep healing oils, tinctures, and salves that repair all body tissue layers - i’m still creating and crafting formulas to this day. Ask me about ordering some if you like.
But life is very different now, sterile compared to what i had, and i don’t believe in telemedicine, and i never will. i’ve seen and done too much, and met god in the treatment room way too many times to doubt because spirit works that way…
So now i research and write - about medicine - and soul.
Much of what we see and read these days can be less than uplifting. My intention has always been to reveal the truth about unseen causes that damage our physiology and destroy our brain/nervous system, while providing solutions, inspiration, fodder for thought, and beautiful pictures of course! There’s something for everyone in my posts.

THREE FIERCE AND SOULFUL WOMEN WARRIORS
on Substack who have my paid support
i once heard of a custom in South Africa where the birthday girl/guy gives gifts to their friends, rather than the other way around. That resonates for me.
So…
In honor of my auspicious first anniversary, i decided to “throw caution to the wind” and forget that i’ve barely made a cent in several years now (ouch though) - and now support Naomi Wolf’s Outspoken, and Reinette Senum’s Foghorn Express.
Dr Ana Mihalcea will be my next paid heroine. i’ve always felt cheap in spirit to not support the good works of others - especially when they show up open heartedly all the time for me/us and graciously give and give and give. There are too many takers in this world, too many open hands yelling gimme-gimme. i’ve sure been at the butt end of that stick enough in my life.
Back in 2012 i was at the end of my funds, and oddly the holy book repeatedly showed me the line “God is my banker”. So i decided to meditate on what that might mean. i’m still here, still kicking, and i have no clue how all those bills got paid. i really don’t. So here’s to faith. And not shutting down in fear.
If you haven’t already, do visit Dr Naomi, Dr Ana, and Reinette on Substack; and do share my posts too!
