Thank you for jumping on yesterday’s post so fast, because we weren’t done. There’s more today!
Thank you to my actual (real, embodied) friends who read this stack and consistently email and text me encouraging words of praise that it’s well worth your time!
The Angel of Hope sits on my shoulder, so i always let Her have the final word, and She wants you to know this: the REAL solutions are actually quite simple, but the trick is this: we have to get quiet and go inside to let our bodies speak.
We can’t hear the inner voice when we’re busy rushing around and doing other things. And as any-bunny knows, there’s always more to do…and the wild spinning wheel of stressors never stops.
Hope Angel feels sad watching the hospital and pharmaceutical charade storm-trooping through people’s lives, driven by profit even as it costs millions of them their lives.
“If only”, she sighs wistfully, “they had the courage to step off the roller coaster of endless radiation-emitting medical tests and toxic treatments and wordy diagnoses and aggressive surgeries and drugs that poison their liver and brain and waiting for the doctors to call back and being told they’re fine when they feel like crap and can’t move, or else that they’ll surely die in 6 weeks no matter what, and that no amount of ginger or ashwaganda or cannabis will ever heal their anxiety and pain…” she trails off in a long deep sigh…whispering “it’s so damn disconnected, i don’t know where to start…”
My dear Angel, i have some ideas, so toss me that ball of wax you’re dragging and take a time-out!
LIFESTYLE: The Bare Bones of Recovering What’s Real
It’s traumatic and unnatural to forsake our senses; our bodies know it.
* Without our senses, we are cut off from our very nature - sparking fear and aggression in the primitive (reptilian) regions of the brain.
* Without our senses, we can’t perceive Truth, and instead remain stuck in agonizing mental loops.
* Without our senses we have no intuition or inner awareness, so we feel more dissociated, disconnected, and lost.
* Without our senses, we have no reference point for safety and connection (mammalian brain/relationship) and fall into depression, panic and fear.
The sympathetic nervous system protects us from danger by flooding our brains and bodies with cortisol, adrenaline, and other stress hormones so that we are fueled to defend or escape.
When stress becomes too extreme the nervous system exhausts itself and shuts down for sheer survival and we go numb.
When animals can’t escape predators, they play dead, and their metabolism grinds to a halt.
(dorsal vagus/worm or lizard rolled in a ball in deep shock, feigning death)
We may be reaching this very point as a culture right now.

TOUCHING THE ANXIETY, DEPRESSION, & TRAUMA STUCK INSIDE
(simple daily basics)
Calm Reset - Long Exhalations - detoxify and calm - 2 phases:
phase 1: Detox- Blow out strongly through mouth 5x; inhale through nose
phase 2: Calm and Center - Breathe deeply in and out through nose; gently extend exhalation to its complete and natural end before inhaling again
Energizing Breath - when you need sustained focus, energy, and clarity:
3-5 fast deep inhalations through the nose while focusing on 3rd eye/brow center; briefly retain breath, then send exhalation down spinal cord past tailbone, into the core of the earth.Mind-body practices - 2 phases:
phase 1: Change the channel inside; spend meditation time each day (even just a few minutes) listening to your thoughts. Take note of what percentage of mental chatter that is life affirming and increase your focus on those thoughts, displacing all preoccupation on what makes you anxious or depressed. Daily practice will retrain your mind.Connection: Polyvagal/4th Brain/Social Brain -
Lean into social and professional support.
Our brain circuits shrink when we are isolated and unwell; however, neuroplasticity flourishes in environments of compassionate personal connection, positive energy and intentions in community. We light eachother up. An illuminated brain = health, vitality, connection, and joy!
Self-Compassion -
Allow patience, trust, and confidence to blossom in their own time.
Take care of yourself the best you can.
Show your inner child kindness and self-respect.Blessings, and if you need more support, please get in touch to explore how this relates to you, and do quantum energy healing with Quiet Mind.
