I have recently started a basic herbal course and am studying the foraging section, so right on cue! What an amazing assortment of sustaining plants we have on our door step! It is an eye opener! Wonderful learning curve x

Thank you Sabrina. i agree, and you should see the pot of purslane my friend weeded and saved for me, standing tall and wide in its own pot out back! i'm so proud of her! and her sisters!~

Did you know purslane is an annual but each plant makes 200,000 seeds? What raw mother-power! i couldn't be more in love...

Thanks sister for the article. I'll be checking the yard for purslane. I have dandelion which I have consumed and may have wild lettuce growing somewhere too.
